Role Description
Excellent understanding of and experience with Group Policies, LDAP Connectivity, Kerberos, NTLM Authentication, NonWindows Applications connecting to AD, User and Group Management, AD Backup management, Recovery Manager for AD, Performance Counters for Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, HyperV, Server Management, Troubleshooting, Server Firmware Updates, Splunk Queries, Powershell Scripting, and Good Communication Skills.
Primary Tasks
- Perform Application Testing and Active Directory Impact Assessment in a Lab Environment
- Perform Lab Management Tasks for AD Engineering
- Manage AD Backups for Lab Domain Controllers via Quest RMAD
- Respond to User Requests for AD Object Creation, Deletion, Modification
- Assist with Lab Server Build Tasks, VMWare HyperV, Physical Troubleshooting issues with Lab Servers and Lab Active Directory
- Review Group Policy requests and test in a Lab
- Document configurations and results
