Active Adults Facilitators

About the role

The Atlee Station Family YMCA is seeking a positive role model to build relationships, plan, and coordinate Active Older Adults and Youth & Family Programs. The YMCA of Greater Richmond is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community foundations through Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility. Responsibilities

• Plan programs and coordinate program logistics, including transportation and staffing.
• Establish a yearly calendar of events for programs.
• Assist in overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating staff or volunteers.
• Ensure coverage for all scheduled shifts and fill in as needed.
• Attend and assist with all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Assist in the development of the associated budget.
• Manage department expenditures within the allotted budget.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant work experience, preferably with older adults and youth & family.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Responsible and enthusiastic attitude.

Pay

$17–$19 per hour (part‑time).

Schedule

Flexible schedule that may include some nights and weekends.
