About the Role & Team
The Operations team at TelevisaUnivision Chicago is looking for an Activations Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Operate station vehicles and equipment.
- Execute radio station promotional activities according to plan.
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the department, including coordinating the set-up and teardown of station remotes, appearances, van hits.
- Conduct on-site contests, games, and other promotional activities as needed.
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
- Abide by organizational norms, support organizational goals, and help foster collaboration and teamwork.
- Communicate and announce promotional or commercial information in Spanish.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic.
- Working knowledge of audio equipment.
- Good driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.
- Understanding of IP addressing and small networks is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Promosuite and/or VPromotions contesting is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media best practices.
- Ability to remain calm and professional through stressful circumstances.
- Able to communicate and announce promotional or commercial information in Spanish.
- Previous work, volunteer, or educational experience in broadcast.
Skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, One Drive, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $16.60
