Activate Your Career Plan Series for International Students

Program Overview

Over the course of 6 weeks (September–October), students accepted into Activate Your Career Plan will work closely with a program facilitator to:

• Define a clear career goal and design a roadmap to achieve it.
• Understand your personal brand tools and learn how to communicate your story effectively.
• Craft a resume and cover letter that positions you as a competitive candidate for U.S. employers.
• Develop a LinkedIn profile that showcases your unique background and attracts connections.
• Prepare a professional bio, take a professional headshot, and learn how to build and leverage a network.
• Understand your distinct cultural value in a global marketplace.

Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with final decisions made by September 13th, 2026.

Requirements

You must be available to attend sessions virtually.

• Session 1: Wednesday, September 16th, 11am-12:15pm
• Session 2: Wednesday, September 23rd, 11am-12:15pm
• Session 3: Wednesday, September 30th, 11am-12:15pm
• Session 4: Wednesday, October 7th, 11am-12:15pm
• Session 5: Wednesday, October 14th, 11am-12:15pm
• Session 6: Wednesday, October 21st, 11am-12:15pm
