Activate is a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide variety of gaming experiences where you and your group enter a video game and become the players to actively and mentally complete challenges.

About the role

We are seeking passionate, customer service-savvy professionals for the role of Part-Time Game Facilitator.

Responsibilities

• Check customers in, take payments, and make reservations
• Brief new groups prior to the start of the game
• Monitor customers in the gaming area and provide explanations as needed
• Participate with customers in games to ensure an excellent experience
• Maintain the rooms by cleaning, painting, and performing required maintenance
• Troubleshoot, identify, and make minor repairs in the event of a malfunction

Requirements

• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations in a calm and efficient manner
• Must be a people person—energetic, friendly, and outgoing, with the ability to command attention in a crowd
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends until 1:00 AM
• Some troubleshooting and technical ability for equipment repair and maintenance

Pay

Starting pay is $12.00 hourly, with a $1.00 raise to $13.00 after training is complete.

Schedule

• Evenings and weekends until 1:00 AM
