About the role

We are seeking tutors to assist students preparing for the ACT or SAT. Ideal candidates hold degrees in English, Social Science, Humanities, or Business for English/Reading ACT instruction. Certification is not required for ACT tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Work individually or one-on-one with students on ACT or SAT preparation
• Track student progress and observe improvements in skills, confidence, and motivation
• Concentrate solely on academic development without dealing with discipline issues

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree
• Flexible and reliable
• Willing to commit to 2-3 days (6-10 hours) per week
• Within reasonable commuting distance of the center
