ACT/SAT Verbal Tutor

We are looking for qualified candidates to tutor motivated students preparing for the ACT or SAT.

About the role

We are a part-time tutoring position at Huntington Learning Center. The role involves working with students individually or one-to-one to help them prepare for the ACT or SAT exams. The position requires candidates to have a Bachelor's degree and may prefer candidates with tutoring or teaching experience. A minimum of 2-3 days per week of schedule availability is required.

• Work with a variety of students on an individual or one-to-one basis.
• Track students' progress and observe marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation.
• Concentrate on academics without dealing with discipline issues.

Requirements

• Candidates MUST possess a Bachelor's degree.
• You must be flexible and reliable.
• Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 days (6-10 hours) per week.
• Within reasonable commuting distance of the center receiving your resume.
