Responsibilities

• Conducting psychiatric assessments
• Assessing physical health needs
• Making appropriate referrals to community physicians
• Providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner
• Providing a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services
• Sharing shift-management responsibilities with other staff
• Providing direct case management services to individuals, conducting medication education, and performing necessary documentation
• Assisting individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills
• Delivering medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotation basis
• Participating in on-call rotation

Requirements

• Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
• At least one year experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
• Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace

Pay

Annual salary range: $58,103 - $100,853, with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.
