ACT Program Manager; $10,000 Sign On Bonus*, $15,000 Relocation and Retention Bonus Eligible

Position Summary

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking an ACT Program Manager to lead the Access to Collaborative Treatment (ACT) program. This role involves collaborating with primary care and mental health providers to deliver evidence-based treatments for mental and emotional disturbances. Key responsibilities include attending outpatient clinic and interdepartmental meetings, supervising ACT clinicians, and managing their time in Kronos.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Master’s degree in a human services related field such as social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology. Preference for three (3) years of sobriety if in recovery.

• Minimum Experience:

  • Completed the clinical practicum as part of the Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience in a relevant setting.
  • Experience and proficiency in clinical/therapeutic settings including assessments, crisis intervention, creating therapeutic goals and treatment plans.
  • Clinical supervisory experience preferred.

• Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Appropriate State of Alaska licensure for licensed clinical social work or licensed professional counselor within 6 months of hire.

• Equipment/Tools: Basic computer knowledge and ability to use standard office equipment.

• Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sensitivity to varying cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds, values, and attitudes.
  • Ability to work respectfully with diverse teams, build consensus, and motivate change.
  • Ability to establish rapport quickly with a wide range of people.

• Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises ACT clinicians by providing clinical supervision and support.
  • Ensures ACT clinicians provide ethical, appropriate, and effective services.
  • Makes necessary changes and updates to ACT services based on current treatment philosophies and population needs.
  • Attends relevant Outpatient Clinic/interdepartmental meetings.
