Acquisition Support Specialist

About the role

Make an impact supporting the National Institute of Health! Lynch Consultants is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist with a solid understanding of the full acquisition lifecycle who is ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a measurable difference. Only applicants who fully satisfy all required qualifications will be considered for further review.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• At least 10 years of experience in federal acquisition support
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), federal procurement processes, and agency acquisition systems
• Experience developing acquisition strategies, Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)

Qualifications

• Familiarity with market research, solicitation preparation, and technical/cost proposal evaluation
• Comfortable coordinating with Contracting Officers, CORs, and program managers
• Previous NIH or Federal IT acquisition support experience

Skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze procurement data and prepare reports, dashboards, and briefings
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills across cross-functional teams

Pay

$120,000 to $140,000 per year

Schedule

Located in Rockville, MD; on-site required 2-3 days per week.
