Acquisition Professional Procurement
About the role
The Integrated Supply Team at Raytheon is seeking an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager to join their highly collaborative team. This role involves sourcing and acquiring materials and services for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers, managing supplier performance, and overseeing the entire purchase order lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
- Review Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) documents and collaborate with other functional organizations to develop and revise documents as needed
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs (requests for quote/requests for proposal)
- Review quotes/proposals and analyze results
- Plan negotiation strategies and lead the negotiations
- Address exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and conditions requirements by collaborating with cross-functional program contacts
- Gather and file required documentation for purchase orders per internal procedures
- Perform routine post-award management activities
- Able to support travel (up to 25%-50%)
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- SAP/PRISM based environment experience
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
