About the role
As an Acquisition Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the FLRAA program, you will serve as a primary advisor and leader for acquisition-related activities. You will assist Government personnel in developing acquisition strategies, preparing leadership briefings, providing project management support, and preparing contract modification packages. Additional responsibilities include writing and reviewing contract letters, refining requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing expert analysis on performance and risk. You will also provide contractual support and perform other acquisition lifecycle duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary advisor and leader for acquisition-related activities.
- Assist Government personnel in developing acquisition strategies.
- Prepare briefings for leadership and provide project management support.
- Prepare contract modification packages.
- Write and review contract letters, refine requirements, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Provide expert analysis on performance and risk.
- Perform contractual support and other acquisition lifecycle duties as required.
Requirements
- BA/BS with 25 years of experience or MS/PHD with 20 years of experience in a technical, business, or management area from an accredited college or university.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
- Ability to perform all functional duties independently.
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required if using own motor vehicle.
