Acquisition Analyst II
About the role
The Acquisition Analyst II supports the U.S. Army by developing, documenting, and maintaining acquisition strategies, strategic plans, and formal program management documentation to guide capability development and modernization initiatives. Assist program offices in reviewing acquisition documentation and advising the Task Manager on acquisition policy and procedures. Provide SME support to Government staff regarding ACAT Milestone Decision project management and planning activities. Review the current acquisition status of each PoR and the plan for integration across the PM portfolio (as necessary).
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development, documentation, and maintenance of acquisition strategies, strategic plans, and other formal acquisition documentation.
- Assist program offices in reviewing acquisition documentation and advise the Task Manager on acquisition policy and procedures.
- Provide SME support to Government staff regarding ACAT Milestone Decision project management and planning activities.
- Identify programmatic developmental deficiencies and make recommendations accordingly.
- Resolve related action items and assist in identifying and resolving them.
- Review the current acquisition status of each PoR and the plan for integration across the PM portfolio (as necessary).
- Identify the overall status of the PoR, as well as any issues or concerns. Provide recommendations as appropriate.
Requirements
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of twenty (20) years of related work/military experience is required.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
