Acima Assistant Store Manager - Bilingual Preferred
About the role
The Assistant Manager at Acima is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service experience. They collaborate and communicate with Acima retail partners to process credit turn down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima credit customers. Additionally, they review lease applications, promote and sell to customers Acima's leasing benefits, and drive conversions.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through appropriate channels (web, partner stores, walk-ins)
- Listening, identifying, and fulfilling all customer needs in a timely manner
- Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payments terms, benefits, the application process, and beginning-to-end of the application process
- Closing the sales cycle by converting applications that include in-store and web orders
- Reporting to and communicating with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker activities and performance
- Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain consistent customer satisfaction and friendly service
- Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
- Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent in-person attendance
Compensation
The Assistant Store Manager position is paid hourly in accordance with Acima's usual payroll procedures. In addition to an hourly rate, the Assistant Store Manager position may be eligible for various bonus and/or incentive programs in effect. To be eligible to receive bonuses or incentives, the Assistant Store Manager must be actively employed and meet all other requirements established in the bonus or incentive plan; unless otherwise required by applicable state or local law. Compensation: $17.81 - $18.96 + Potential Bonus (Based on performance, paid out monthly)
