Achievement Liaison Teacher for the 2026-2027 - Star Hill Elementary School

OVERVIEW

To provide support in developing and sustaining high levels of student achievement, teacher quality, and parent engagement opportunities to foster a positive school learning environment for all students, teachers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data analysis to improve instruction, student achievement, and school climate.
• Aid in the design and implementation of intervention programs.
• Support teachers across content areas (curriculum, instruction, and classroom environment).
• Facilitate parent involvement / family engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the Administrative team to design professional development sessions.
• Serve as a resource person to assist in supporting district initiatives as it pertains to DER.
• Support DPAS II Expectations and Individual Improvement Plans as needed by Principal.
• Collaborate with other building ALT's and ensure vertical articulation of best practices.
• Support SEL initiatives and MTSS to meet the needs of staff and students.
• Perform such other assignments and accept such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal.

Pay

In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.
• Elementary Teacher certification required.
• Educational Leadership Certification or Reading Specialist certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience leading professional development, mentoring, and participating in school leadership opportunities preferred.
