ACES Classroom Teacher

About the role

The ACES Classroom Teacher will instruct students in grades Pre-K to 6, contributing to the educational development of young learners within Amelia County Public School System.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Create and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Mentor and support student growth through individualized instruction and group activities.
• Evaluate student progress regularly and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive learning programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate endorsement in Pre-K-6 Elementary Education.
• 10-month position (200 days).

Pay

The salary range for this position is from $52,626 to $76,394, with placement on the 2026-2027 teacher salary scale commensurate with experience. Additional supplements are available for Master's and Doctorate degrees.

Schedule

This is a 10-month position (200 days).
