Accts Pay Clerk II

About the role

Performs clerical accounting duties requiring analysis and individual judgment. Key Responsibilities include entering data information as required, verifying and correcting discrepancies in Sundt's interfaces for sub-contracts and electronic payments, reviewing and verifying sub-contract and purchase order invoices, preparing pre-check reports, processing sub-contract and purchase order vouchers, providing backup to field personnel, reviewing batch edits, and assisting with other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Enters data information as required
• Verifies and corrects discrepancies in Sundt's interfaces for sub-contracts and electronic payments
• Reviews and verifies sub-contract and purchase order invoices
• Prepares pre-check reports
• Processes sub-contract and purchase order vouchers
• Provides backup to field personnel
• Reviews and verifies batch edits
• Assists with other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years' data entry and telephone communication experience
• 2+ years' experience in accounts payable
• High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs and Adobe Acrobat programs

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, etc.
• Ability to communicate via telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices
• Ability to comply with all safety standards and procedures

Skills

Knowledgeable in Sundt's interfaces for sub-contracts and is able to verify and correct discrepancies. Knowledgeable in electronic payments such as ACH and credit cards. Knowledgeable in legal and company requirements for payment and record keeping of sub-contract and purchase order invoices.
