ACCS Recovery Specialist (Master's Level)
About the role
The Recovery Specialist provides clinical assessment, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for adults with serious mental illness. The role is pivotal in leading the development of comprehensive, recovery-based services and coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and enhance program services.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical leadership for an assigned group of clients
- Coincides and monitors the activities of the individual treatment team
- Assumes primary responsibility for the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the team
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Ability to work within a team dynamic
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully at coordinating care across a continuum of care required
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to a personal vehicle to provide occasional transportation of consumers
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- The capability to provide individual supportive therapy and symptom management
