Accreditation and Quality Coordinator - Cancer

Responsibilities

  • Execute quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness.
  • Support performance monitoring and coordination of improvement efforts.
  • Ensure alignment with system and service line quality priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead day-to-day accreditation preparation activities.
  • Conduct gap analyses and implement corrective action plans.
  • Maintain required documentation and evidence of compliance.
  • Track, analyze, and report program-level performance metrics.
  • Communicate and escalate performance gaps or areas of concern.
  • Support disease-specific dyad leaders and interdisciplinary program-level committees.
  • Educate stakeholders on quality standards, accreditation requirements, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • Hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in a healthcare related field or Associate's with 2 or more years of related experience and/or training.
  • Medical terminology.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
  • Quality or performance improvement experience.
  • Oncology experience and knowledge of cancer care.
