Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Makes collection calls for customer payment of past due invoices, logs all correspondence, and follows up as required.
• Prepares weekly/monthly customer statements as required.
• Works with Sales team and customers to reconcile customer late payments.
• Identifies and resolves all short payments/deductions/overpayments, clearly documenting all details and forwarding paperwork to the correct department for resolution assistance.
• Tracks short payments to facilitate timely follow-up and resolution.
• Arranges re-payment of short payments or requests credit memos.
• Organizes paperwork/documentation in appropriate files.
• Performs other duties or special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a broad knowledge of accounting or related discipline equivalent to a minimum Associates college education or comparable experiential learning.
• Minimum of one year experience in Accounts Receivable or related discipline.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills.
