About the role
The role involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, and resolving billing issues. This is a key position in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and ensure accurate billing
- Process payments and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate with customers regarding account status and payment inquiries
- Follow up on overdue accounts and implement collection strategies
- Prepare reports and provide data analysis for financial management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with collections software is a plus
- Knowledge of credit reporting agencies and industry best practices
