Accounts Receivable Representative - Hybrid

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies, and others for equipment and services provided by Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services. Service lines may include Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment.

This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work a set amount of time each week. Candidates residing in Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA areas are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform billing and collections for services and equipment provided by Providence.
  • Work with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Requirements

  • Two years of recent experience in a healthcare environment with an emphasis on reimbursement and collections.
  • Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: College-level coursework or training in medical front office/medical billing.
  • Preferred: Epic experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.16 - $32.37 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
