Accounts Receivable Representative

About the role

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative serves as a key liaison between Lithia & Driveway and our customers, delivering exceptional service to parts and service accounts while managing a high-volume AR portfolio, driving timely collections, and resolving billing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a high-volume AR portfolio across a large customer base
• Communicate with customers through 100+ emails per day and a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily
• Drive timely payment collection while maintaining a strong customer experience
• Handle inbound AR-related calls and billing inquiries with professionalism and urgency
• Analyze customer communications and proactively address key issues to reduce repeat contact and back-and-forth
• Research and resolve service and parts billing discrepancies
• Interpret and communicate third-party data exchanges clearly and effectively to customers
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and system updates (including Excel-based tracking)
• Partner with internal teams and utilize tools such as SharePoint to manage documentation and workflows
• Respond to both internal and external inquiries within established service-level timelines

Requirements

Experience in a high-volume communication environment (verbal & written), prior remote work experience required, working knowledge of Excel and SharePoint, strong attention to detail, time management, and prioritization, customer service, collections, or AR experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

A high school graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
