Responsibilities
- Manage insurance authorizations, eligibility verification, and payer communications
- Track service units, authorization timelines, and recertification dates
- Support clients with insurance applications (including HUSKY) and coordinate with state agencies and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate records through timely data entry and completion of administrative tasks
- Oversight of collections processes, including client payments, income verification, aging follow-ups, and reconciliation reporting
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role
