About the Role

Ensure liquidity for the Volvo Group by supporting the timely collection of accounts receivable for clients within Accounting and Company Control.

Responsibilities

  • Perform collection activities through emails or phone calls using pre-dunning and dunning procedures in compliance with Credit Management guidelines; prepare and maintain collection reports.
  • Analyze customer accounts using SAP tools and reporting systems to provide necessary support to Credit Management.
  • Review and analyze aged receivable accounts to identify potential risks and provide risk analysis reporting.
  • Support accurate posting of incoming payments, maintain credit holds and credit releases, and run related system reports.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including credit and collections, along with basic accounting principles.
  • Basic understanding of legal requirements related to the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills for identifying trends, reporting findings, and resolving issues.
  • Proficiency in SAP financial systems and Credit Management tools.
  • Working knowledge of PLQ, BPM, On Demand, and Share Drive AR.
  • Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting using a computerized matching system.
  • 2 years’ experience in credit and collections.

Pay

For this position, the base pay is set at $53,700 - $66,400 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
