Accounts Receivable Coordinator
About the role
This position requires you to work 100% on-site at our HQ in Columbus, OH. BBI Logistics is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and driven Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our cash flow, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth onboarding and collections processes as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Incoming Payment Processing
- Record and apply incoming payments, including ACH transfers and checks
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies accurately and efficiently
- Customer Onboarding & Relations
- Manage new customer onboarding by uploading contracts, reviewing payment terms, and assessing credit reports
- Proactively communicate with new customers to confirm invoice delivery and verify correct banking information
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to active billing
- Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Prepare and run weekly accounts receivable and aging reports
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up with brokers and customers on overdue balances or accounts requiring attention
- Support collections efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
