Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage complex healthcare billing and grant vouchering processes across various program services.
• Prepare and submit Medicaid and third-party insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted resource within the billing team, providing guidance on procedures, regulations, and system processes.
• Help maintain precise accounts receivable records.
• Collaborate with Senior Accountants to contribute to monthly revenue reporting and ensure the integrity of financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of billing experience are required.
• Strong skills in analyzing revenue and receivable accounts, and accurate entry of accounting data are essential.
• This position demands a high level of interpersonal communication, independent decision-making, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software is required.
• Familiarity with accounting practices and non-profit financial operations is preferred.
• Candidates should be well-versed in Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance claim billing procedures, utilizing specialized software such as Medisked and Millin Pro.

What We Offer

• Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
• Full Time: 37.5 Hours per week
• Location: Seneca County
• Pay Rate: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
