About the role
The Accounts Receivable Analyst provides accounting services in the areas of receiving and processing cash items, petty cash and change funds. This role serves as a liaison between the department and the students and all 3rd party vendors.
Responsibilities
- Process student payments, collect money due and record to student accounts.
- Handle student account inquiries, provide customer service for student and other related inquiries.
- Process and record accounts receivable payments.
- Balance daily cash transactions and prepare bank deposits.
- Maintain petty cash and change funds as assigned, verifying daily.
- Maintain accounts receivable billing, returned checks, and installment payment files.
- Process student tuition refund requests.
- Serve as back-up for all 3rd party invoicing.
- Perform collection account review and assist with collection placement with outside agencies.
- Audit petty cash and change funds assigned to other university offices.
- Reconcile various deposit accounts to General Ledger as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma. Associates Degree in Business preferred.
- Candidates Must Have Good composition and English skills, proficient in MS Office, calculator and other office machines.
- Ability to follow through on a myriad of details daily.
- Willingness to accept full responsibility for projects.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay
Salary Range: $38,000 - $40,000
