Accounts Receivable Analyst
About the role
Belle Tire is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be energized by work that keeps the business moving and will play a key role in ensuring accurate payment processing.
Responsibilities
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts and invoices
- Reconcile daily deposits, bank activity, and cash postings to ensure accuracy
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and payment discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams, stores, and customers to obtain missing remittance information
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities as needed
- Identify and escalate posting issues, system discrepancies, or unusual payment activity
- Process adjustments related to payment application, as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable or cash application experience
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Experience working in a retail-based company
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position is based in an office environment and works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
