Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Process and apply daily payments accurately and timely.
- Prepare and distribute monthly invoices.
- Manage collection activities and monitor aging receivables.
- Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate.
- Perform premium reconciliations and account balancing activities.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, and account-related matters.
- Support financial audits by providing documentation and account analysis.
- Calculate monthly accounts receivable reserves and document reserve rationale.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational, priorititization, and time management skills, advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sage 300 accounting software.

Pay
Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $27.40 - $32.21 an hour, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
Schedule
This position is primarily performed in a professional office setting and involves extended periods of sitting, computer use, data entry, and close attention to financial information. This is a Hybrid position with an expectation of the team member being in the Tustin, CA office three days a week and working remotely the other two.
