Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our client, an established organization, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations, manage a team and ensure accurate and timely vendor payments. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and maintaining efficient financial operations. What You'll DoOversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments and general ledger activityManage, train and develop AP team membersReview vendor accounts, resolve payment discrepancies and respond to inquiriesMonitor AP aging reports and ensure accurate, timely paymentsProcess wire transfers, ACH payments and other payment transactionsSupport month-end close activities, reconciliations and financial reportingOversee vendor setup, approvals and year-end tax reportingIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes, systems and internal controlsSupport accounting activities related to business transitions and integrationsAssist with external audits and collaborate with internal departments What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field4+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience5+ years of supervisory and accounts payable experience preferredStrong understanding of AP processes, general ledger accounting and vendor paymentsExperience managing and developing accounting teamsKnowledge of accounting systems and financial reportingStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently Why Consider This Opportunity?
