Responsibilities
- Assist the Medicaid Department with processing and entering data to ensure accurate and timely payment of patient data & invoices/bills.
- Process hospice room & board as needed.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for document preparation and records management.
- Perform monthly check runs for all facilities.
- Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management.
- Quickly and accurately perform data entry and coding.
- Send monthly statements to facilities confirming amounts owed.
- Review facility invoices for accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar field preferred.
- Typing proficiency with a speed of 50+ WPM.
- General math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Excellent data entry, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
