Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and payment requests
• Review and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
• Maintain vendor records and assist with payment inquiries
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues
• Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
• Absorb audit requests and documentation preparation
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing

Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience working in high-volume invoice processing environments
• Strong understanding of the full AP cycle and related accounting processes
• Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Preferred Background

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, or general accounting functions
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
