About the role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AP / Payroll Administrator to join their team in a 100% onsite role. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities and can thrive in a hands-on environment. The position will support accounts payable, payroll processing, and general office administration while working closely with a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, and job cost allocation.
• Manage approximately 15 AP transactions per day using accounting software.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing for approximately 47 employees.
• Support job costing activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle general office administration duties, including certificates of insurance, payment bonds, office supplies, and phone support.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Payroll experience strongly preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a significant plus.
• Job costing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment and handling a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities.
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
