The Accounts Payable Manager owns the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for Zelestra US, oversees the offshore Global Business Services (GBS) accounting team, and ensures timely and accurate vendor payments. This hands-on role also supports reconciliations, month-end close, and broader accounting activities as needed.

Responsibilities

Procure-to-Pay & Accounts Payable

  • Own the end-to-end P2P process, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, vendor setup, and 1099 reporting.
  • Manage AP reconciliations, accruals, aging, month-end close, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Partner with Treasury and cross-functional teams to support payment timing, cash forecasting, and process improvements.
  • Maintain AP policies, procedures, controls, and system enhancements.

GBS Oversight

  • Oversee the offshore GBS team responsible for day-to-day AP processing.
  • Provide direction, review, prioritization, and escalation support to ensure quality and service levels.
  • Monitor KPIs, accuracy, and process performance while driving continuous improvement.

Broader Accounting Support

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist with audits, tax-related activities, ERP enhancements, and ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay experience, including full-cycle AP ownership.
  • Experience with offshore, shared-service, GBS, or BPO accounting teams preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, three-way match, and 1099 reporting.
  • ERP experience required; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in high-volume, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed, hands-on, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Renewable energy or construction accounting experience and CPA/APM credentials are a plus.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $70,000 annual plus a competitive bonus structure. Actual pay will vary depending on job-related factors, such as the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
