About the Role
This role manages financial workflows, supports month-end close activities, and drives process improvements while collaborating with key stakeholders. This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Manhattan headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Direct accounts payable operations including vendor management, invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
- Support month-end close through variance analyses, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance through regular audits of internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop AP team members to enhance operational efficiency
- Partner with Finance and IT departments on systems implementation and optimization
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Attend on-site meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in management, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solving
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience with AP automation tools and systems
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle)

Pay
The salary range for this position is $99,500 - $105,000 with quarterly incentive opportunities.
