Position Overview
Aid in the computation and recording of numerical data to ensure financial records are complete. Perform duties such as calculating, posting, and verifying financial data.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in maintaining accurate accounts payable using accounting programs and software.
- Assist in checking figures, postings, and documents for correctness, ensuring proper approvals and codes.
- Prepare and process check requests, invoices, reimbursements, etc., for payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements regularly.
- Track purchases against approved budgets.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Compile and prepare statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports.
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records for resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounts payable.
- Proficient with a 10-key calculator.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Docusign is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and take initiative.
- Confidence in exercising tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
