About the role
Responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, and ensuring timely payments.
Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Ensure timely payment of vendors in accordance with established deadlines.
- Handle vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payment requests to finance department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with Accounts Payable software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
