Accounts Payable Clerk

**Job Description** The City of Saratoga Springs has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is responsible for providing financial and administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial, clerical and administrative operations. This position performs the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that Municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date, and accurate manner, this includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that municipal finances are accurate and up to date, and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits. Would also be responsible to assist and provide assistance when needed to the Office & Facilities Administrator. Including but not limited to meeting vendors or employees at other locations, purchasing, shipping and receiving supplies, and other similar duties as assigned.
