About the role

Integrus is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Accounts Payable & Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. This position plays an important role in supporting the firm's financial operations, with primary responsibilities in project billing, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Working collaboratively with the Director of Finance, Principals, Project Managers, Human Resources, and design professionals, this individual will help ensure accurate and timely financial transactions while supporting the financial performance of our projects and the firm. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who demonstrates strong attention to detail, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and thrives in a collaborative, project-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project time and expenses, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with Principals to ensure accurate project financial information.
• Coordinate with Principals to prepare and process accurate, timely monthly client billings.
• Maintain project-specific accounts receivable billing worksheets, ensuring alignment with project budgets and client agreements.
• Review consultant invoices against consultant agreements, identifying and communicating discrepancies as needed.
• Perform monthly billing closeout procedures and prepare and file applicable excise tax returns.
• Maintain project financial projections and assist Principals with monitoring project budgets, revenue, and financial performance.
