Accounting Technician

About the Role

We seek a highly organized Técnico Contable to manage daily financial operations and administrative tasks. The role acts as a bridge between operations and leadership, translating financial data into actionable insights to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable/receivable, vendor management, invoicing, collections, and expense reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate processing of payroll, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
• Optimize workflows and implement software upgrades for efficiency.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to GAAP or local standards.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate ledger coding.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in financial administration in the USA or Spanish market, preferably in a senior role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Sage) and payroll platforms (ADP, Gusto).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts clearly.
