About the role
The Accounting Technician will be responsible for billing and collections within the Southeast Florida market. They will also perform various general accounting duties using Excel spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
- Billing and collections within the Southeast Florida market
- Variety of general accounting duties using Excel spreadsheets
- Joining a lively, fast-paced office and a friendly, hands-on Accounting Team
- Reporting to the Branch in Lake Worth, supporting, and traveling to Branches in Fort Lauderdale, Port St. Lucie, and Vero Beach as needed
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of previous experience in a high-volume environment
- Prior landscape or general construction billing experience preferred
- A positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and be highly functional in a team environment
- Intermediate level Excel skills and Microsoft Office experience; additional software experience is a plus
- Knowledge of A1A Forms is preferred
