Job Description

• Review and verify vendor registration requests, ensuring that all vendor payments are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Aid in the monthly close activities of Accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial results in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
• Analyze general and administrative expenses, payroll, travel expenses, and corporate card expenses.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, and other departments to ensure alignment on financial reporting and compliance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving accounting system errors across the firm to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee and manage various accounting teams: accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), or fixed assets (FA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective action in a timely manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
• Experience and knowledge in Automotive industry accounting is a plus.
