Accounting Supervisor Position Description

Hope, Arkansas | Onsite, Monday - Friday Reports To: Controller About The Role Our Client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and partner with their Controller. You will lead the accounting staff, manage month-end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide workflowFinancial Close: Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month-end reports.Tax & Compliance: Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain strict data confidentiality.Process Improvement: Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed. Preferred CPA/CMA license (or eligibility to sit for exams).Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP software. Compensation Base salary up to $100,000 – commensurate with extent of relevant experience Bonus of 40%
