About the role

A newly created role within the Healthcare Industry, located in Franklin, TN. This high visibility position partners directly with Accounting and Financial Reporting leadership, overseeing broad corporate accounting responsibilities and offering opportunities to make a meaningful impact. The role includes supervising and mentoring a Staff Accountant, working in a tight-knit, collaborative team with a supportive, non-micromanaging leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage and mentor a staff accountant
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with accounting software and systems
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
