Accounting Supervisor III
About the role
Lead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
Monitor and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support compliance initiatives.
Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide recommendations and explanations to management.
Support the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities.
Coordinate accounting and reporting activities across multiple locations within the Americas Division.
Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload priorities and performance.
Champion process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, enhance reporting quality, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support compliance initiatives.
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide recommendations and explanations to management.
- Support the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Cook up accounting and reporting activities across multiple locations within the Americas Division.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload priorities and performance.
- Champion process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, enhance reporting quality, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- A master's degree in Accounting (MSA) is preferred.
- A CPA, CMA, and/or MBA certification is preferred.
- Five years of progressive accounting experience is required.
- Experience supervising or leading accounting professionals is preferred.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and reports.
- Experience analyzing financial results and communicating findings to management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience working with confidential financial information.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, vendors, banks, and customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5–6%).
