About the role
We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented organization seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee core accounting operations and lead a high-performing team. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financials
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Oversee general ledger activity, accruals, and estimates
- Support audit activities (internal & external)
- Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Partner cross-functionally to support reporting and financial analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (direct or indirect)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Public accounting background is a plus

You’ll bring a strong foundation in GAAP, a hands-on approach to the close process, and the ability to mentor staff while partnering cross-functionally across the business.
