Accounting Services Supervisor

About the role

Core Financial Outsourcing provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and consulting services to clients across a wide range of industries. The firm operates in a flexible, collaborative hybrid environment focused on client service, accuracy, and professional growth. This is a hybrid, full‑time, direct‑hire position based in Doylestown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and forecasts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Review and improve staff‑prepared accounting work.
• Support and develop junior team members.

Success Metrics

• Accurate and timely month‑end closes across clients.
• Strong client responsiveness and satisfaction.
• Fewer errors and rework in reviewed financials.
• More efficient reporting processes over time.
• Growth in capability of supported staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Background in public accounting or financial services preferred.
• Prior supervisory or review experience.

Skills

• Strong communication and organization.
• Advanced Excel skills.
