As our business continues to grow globally, we are expanding our Finance team to support a centralized accounts receivable operation serving multiple international entities.Position SummaryHSI is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Receivable Clerk I (Cash Application) to support our centralized cash application and payment posting function. This role is responsible for accurately applying and recording customer payments across multiple global entities and currencies while ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, high-volume environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are critical to success. Unlike traditional accounts receivable roles, this position is focused primarily on cash application and reconciliation rather than collections or customer account management.What You'll DoAccurately apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts and invoicesProcess cash applications across multiple global entities, including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific operationsEnsure payments are applied to the correct entity, currency, and bank accountPost ACH, wire, check, and credit card transactions within the accounting systemProcess and reconcile internal credit card transactionsCreate and maintain supporting documentation and invoices related to payment processing activitiesInvestigate payment discrepancies, short payments, and application exceptionsCollaborate with internal accounting and finance team members to resolve payment issuesMaintain accurate financial records while adhering to established accounting proceduresSupport audit preparation and other departmental initiatives as needed Requirements 3+ years of accounts receivable experience3+ years of cash application or payment posting experienceAccounts receivable experience with a strong focus on cash application or payment postingUnderstanding of accounting principles, including debits and creditsAbility to accurately reconcile and apply payments to customer accountsExposure to global or multi-entity accounting environmentsExperience working with multiple currencies or international transactionsExperience processing credit card merchant transactions and payment exceptionsExperience using Sage IntacctStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage repetitive, high-volume tasks efficientlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Experience using Salesforce is a plus Benefits Fully Remote Work: Work where you're most productive—we trust you.Generous PTO: Recharge when you need to—we support work-life balance.Career Growth: Unlimited access to our Learning & Development library, including our own HSI LMS content.Well-Being First: Full medical, dental, vision, and mental health coverage.Secure Your Future: Generous $1:$1 401(k) company match—your future is important to us.This position has an annual salary range of $40K-$45K. Placement within the range will depend on experience, qualifications, and other business considerations.
