Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong grasp of accounting principles, eager to contribute to a growing SaaS company. You excel in fast-paced environments, working closely with accounting teams to support month-end closes, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and audits. You're proactive, a strong communicator, and committed to maintaining accurate documentation of processes and controls while seeking ways to improve efficiency and streamline tasks. You thrive in balancing multiple responsibilities and are motivated by opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the endorsements process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations.
- Leverage AI tools, including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI ChatGPT, to create effective prompts, streamline workflows, and support data analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making across fintech and finance functions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and posting.
- Perform account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support cash management, accruals, invoicing, and cost allocations as part of core accounting functions.
- Support the audit process by gathering required documentation, preparing audit schedules, and responding to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.
(FinTech & Reporting Support)
- Act as the FinTech liaison for the Accounting team, supporting systems, tools, and current/future integrations.
- Write, build, and optimize NetSuite reports to support accounting and finance visibility.
- Administer and monitor FloQast, including task setup, folder locking, and close monitoring.
- Support continued optimization of Ramp for expense management and workflow efficiency.
- Aid in process documentation and standardization across accounting operations.
- Support broader accounting operations and special projects as needed.

- Experience / Education / Certifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI ChatGPT.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with Sage Intaact, NetSuite, including report writing and system navigation.
- Familiarity with close management tools (e.g., FloQast) and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation is a strong plus.
- Self-starter who is proactive, takes initiative, and follows through on tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a natural curiosity for systems and technology.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $117,000 - $155,000 annually.
